Revenge of the undead arts! \D:/ (or: "BRAIIIIINS!!") (copied from my deviantART journal:)
Yeah. So. Anyway, I just uploaded a really old Zelda fan-comic I mostly-drew — I say 'mostly-drew' because the first and fourth pages are largely incomplete. Links (hurr hurr) to the pages are at the bottom of this post. ^^
In a way, my art really sucked seven/eight/nine years ago. BUT, on the other hand, there were a few things in it that I actually did pretty well, like for instance, the sixth panel on the second page of my Zelda comic has (I think) the best running pose I've ever drawn. :) Sadly, all subsequent attempts at drawing a running pose look too… well, posed. >.< It's annoying.
I recently checked out some art books from one of the libraries around here, though, so that I can improve on my art abilities and stuff, improve my drawings, and maybe even start one one of the many comic ideas I have. :D
…unfortunately, for the comics thing, I'd need my own computer, and a sllllIGHTLY better scanner — this one is better for scanning in straight photographs rather than line drawings. x3;; It tries to auto-correct color (I keep having to tell it "NO! \D:/" *flail*), and it scans everything to where it looks like a 40- to 60-quality JPEG. D: BUT, it does get the job done, so I can't complain TOO much. x3
Aaand… well. I guess that's about all I have to say, so: g'night, all! ^^/ I'll see 'ya next time I upload something.

Happy Birthday to Me! :3 So, as many of you may (or may not) know, my birthday was the 5th of this month — just a few days ago. :)
My loot consisted of:- Twin 0.5mm Pentel 'Icy' mechanical pencils (one blue, one black)
- Several 0.5mm HB lead refills (accumulatively, counting the lead refills that came with the pencils: 104-ish sticks of lead)
- A pack of eight Mounds bars! :D Mm-mm. :3~
- Volume two of the Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunso) manga
- A large, five-subject spiral-bound notebook, with 180 sheets of paper in it. :D I was running out of room in my other one, so my mom and sis got me it. ^^
I also got to go to the 1984 Arcade here in Springfield, Missouri — if you like old arcade games, it's the place to go; it rocks. :D Black lights, '80s music (and music videos), classic games, and an amazing list of high scores. :) I managed to get the high scores of the day on Asteroids and Space Invaders, and also scored pretty well on one of the Pole Position cabinets that they have. ^^
Aaand just yesterday, we went to the Nature Conservation Center! :D It was awesome — a beautiful place, even though almost nothing was leafed out yet. Saw several deer, a couple of wild turkeys, and some sort of waterfowl (possibly a heron). ^_^ It was cool. :D
Also: Papa Murphy's take 'n' bake pizza is the best pizza in Springfield evar. Period. If you ever visit Springfield, Missouri, you have to try Papa Murphy's pizza at least once. :D Dunno if it exists very far outside of Missouri, though. o.O I'd have to check. ^^;
In other news, I'm still pondering opening myself up for art commissions. I haven't made up my mind yet, though — I want to know if anyone would even WANT art from me before I open up for commissions. x3;
So, check out my gallery, and comment here if you're interested in buying an art from me. :) I can't do inked or colored (at the moment), but I can at least do good pencil sketches/drawings.
Anywho, I'mma sign off now. Laters! :3/

"I AM SINISTAR. BEWARE, I LIVE!" Shamelessly copied from my deviantART journal:
Well. It's been nearly THREE YEARS since my last journal post. I bet you're wondering why I've not updated in so long.
The reason is, Real Life got seriously in my way about three years ago -- I started designing website graphics for my mom to sell online (via the Web Graphics Guild, the site she made for it), aaand -- well, I kinda had gotten behind, so I had to get caught up. However, my methods of DOING so were extremely ineffective, and as such, it took all day (or longer) just to do one set, and then it got to where it took almost a WEEK just to do one set.
To add to this, due to having to pay car insurance the month prior, we were two months behind on our house payments, and the bank (U.S. Bank, to be exact -- I recommend anyone to stay away from them) decided to refuse a payment we sent them. They sent it back to us (after long enough for us to think it'd been accepted), saying that they needed a cashier's check.
My mom sends them a cashier's check, and -- guess what happens! Again, they wait 'til it's been long enough that it seems they've accepted it, and then they send the CHECk back, saying that we're three months late with the payments.
Needless to say, we were very perturbed -- I can't remember what exactly we did about it, though. Anyway, several months later, we get an eviction notice.
HOWEVER, our lawyer manages to stall them long enough that we have (all-total) about two years to get the money to pay off the house (which was about 60,000$, if I remember right) -- but unfortunately, we lost the house.
On the morning of January... fifth, I think it was, our house (which looked completely abandoned; our car (an old station wagon) actually had a thick-ish layer of dust on it xD) was suddenly invaded by a woman from Remax (whose name was Shirley), a sheriff, and Shirley's assistant, I think she was.
Anyway, long story short: we had three days to decide when we wanted to get the stuff out of our house so that they could sell it. We were locked out of the place and spent three-ish days in a hotel (the Ozark Mountain Inn in Harrison, AR -- nice place ^^), then on the evening of the eighth or ninth, I think it was, we went back to the house and started packing stuff up (with the (EXTREMELY LARGE) help of my sister-in-law and my brother). We took one short sleep that night, then when we got up, we started packing again until the deadline, which was three o'clock PM that day.
Fortunately, we managed to get everything out of the house, and then spent a sleepless night getting it packed into a U-Haul-esque truck, carted over to a storage building, unloaded, put INTO the building, then putting more into the truck and repeating the cycle again. By the time we were close to getting the last of the stuff into the truck (just before the second (and last) trip), it was not only dawn, but snowing slightly as well.
Luckily for us, the snow didn't last long (and didn't really accumulate), and it was late morning/mid-afternoon by the time we managed to get everything into the storage building (which my mom was convinced wouldn't hold everything), and after taking a quick detour at a McDonald's to get some food, we drove northward to where my brother and his wife live, where we promptly crashed, slept like logs, and are currently living at the moment until we can get our own place. :(
Sadly, we didn't manage to get EVERYthing that we were wanting -- quite a bit of stuff out in the shed in our back yard (which was a massive jumble) was left behind. We got what we could, but not nearly as much as we were wanting. ._.
Also, fun fact: it got down to the single digits the night we were packing stuff into the truck. :D We'd thought it had only gone down to the low to mid teens, though. xD
ANYway -- I just did a large amount of deviation submissions, both to my Gallery AND to my Scraps, so feel free to check them out if you want. :) I've been drawing a bit, lately, and writing as well (though for the latter I have nothing to show for it), and I've been thinking of opening up commissions, hence the glut of postings -- I'm just curious, would anyone be interested in paying me to draw something? Anyone? :)
Alas, I can't do Photoshop-colored stuff (yet), nor inked (as I lack the proper inking tools -- ballpoint pens just do NOT work), but I CAN promise good-quality penciled drawings, alternatively colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. ^^;
Sorry I haven't posted ANYTHING in forever -- but, well. Life sucks at the moment. :( Also, I actually have a few other pics that I've been wanting to submit, but they're on my computer, which, at the moment, is in storage. n.n;;
Oh -- and about NekoWorld: it's not dead -- I've just not done anything with it yet. ^^; Check my Scraps and you'll be able to see about all I've got of it so far.
I promise that I'll be attempting to update much more often now, though, now that I have full access to a scanner that I can use whenever I want. :D
Aaand, if you like music (and have an SA account), watch my SheezyArt account for my chiptune (8-bit Nintendo music (a la NES, GameBoy, etc.)) music stuff that I've been making on-and-off for the past four-ish years now! :D I'd post the stuff here, except dA doesn't do audio files. ^^; So -- yeah, SA for music, dA for arts. :)
...and I'm rambling now -- goodnight, Gracie! ^^/
Edit: I now have stuff on my SheezyArt! :D It's only five songs, but that's all I could easily upload at the moment. More to come. Check 'em out if you want. :)
Also, I updated one of my scraps enjoy. :D

Yet another weird dream. o.O Okay, so — I'm in the extremely far future with some of my friends (who for some reason I've never seen before in real life), and there's no real sign of life or anything (no oceans, either), and just as one of my friends (we'll call him James, I guess) remarks that there's no sign of of anything living, I notice a strange moss growing on the ground.
About now, the dream switches from live-action-style to cartoony-style, and suddenly the moss sorta erupts out of the ground into the shape of a large gorilla hanging on a tree! We three (James, myself, and Jen(ny)) were seriously weirded out about this, and started running away from it — but unfortunately, we didn't get very far because our escape route was blocked by a huge moss-Brontosaurus, which pulled its head out of a crack in the ground in front of a large lake.
We were surrounded on all sides (in front and behind by weird moss-creatures, on the left and right by strange, prehistoric trees that were suddenly just there), when my cricket companion (who didn't really have a name) attempted to converse with the vegetable matter — unfortunately, this didn't work too well; the gorilla tried to pound the grasshopper-cricket-thing into the ground, and the Brontosaurus ignored it. It wasn't until the moss formed a large grasshoppery-thing of its own that they started being able to converse (though I didn't know what either of them were saying).
Sadly, just as their conversation was getting pretty heated, my mom woke me up and told me to turn my computer off. I may never know how this dream would've ended. >_____<

Weird Foods That I Want to Try Sometime (why, I have no idea, but what the heck. :D)
================ HAVE NOT DONE: ================ - Bean and Sardine Burrito
- Hotdog sandwiched between Tomato Sauce and Mustard Sardines (on a hotdog bun, of course)
- A Twinkie-Weiner Sandwich (made famous by Weird Al, who is now a vegetarian I hear)
- Chocolate-covered cheddar cheese balls
================ ALREADY TRIED: ================ - Hotdogs with Chocolate Sauce instead of Mustard or Ketchup {Was pretty good — may be an acquired taste}
- A Peanut-Butter Sandwich (that's a sandwich made up of roasted, salted peanuts, and butter — not peanut butter) {Not so good. Tasted awful. :P}
Feel free to suggest some! :D

Birthday Stuffs! :D
So anyway, we celebrated my youngest older brother's birthday and my birthday on the 19th, and I gave my bro a CD-R with some cool vids and stuff on it (among them were Vlad Pohnert's Those Poor Guys in Red, and Leonard Nimoy's The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins! :D). He gave me a full NES game cleaning kit (with the weird cleaning fluid stuff (which contains ammonia (which SMELLS really bad (and, sadly, familiar, though I'm not going to say why))), non-static (and non-flammable! :D) spray stuff, which is used to clean off any residue of the cleaning fluid (which happens to have a similar consistency to White-Out/liquid paper, only it doesn't dry nearly as fast, and doesn't make a weird skin as you're trying to use it! XD), four anti-static cleaning cloths (I've already used two of them, and I've only cleaned ten of my forty-four games (eleven of forty-seven, if you count the three my sister keeps in her room), plus the Game Genie! o_o He ALSO gave me a brand-shiny new gold-plated (drool! :D~) 72-pin connecter doohickey for the NES, and since I put that in there — I can just take a (cleaned) game, insert it, push it down, turn the power on and play. o.o I didn't have to blow on the cartridge (which I learned is actually bad for the games — speeds up the oxidization process and stuff like that), I didn't have to NUDGE the cart — heck, I didn't even have to take it out and re-insert it! :D It just WORKED! :D I love it. ^_____^
His wife (I believe she would be my sister-in-law, correct? o.O) gave me five new NES games that I've not played (or at least don't remember playing) outside of ROMs on an emulator — Dragon Warrior, Jeopardy!, Joust, Mission: IMPOSSIBLE and Lunar Pool! :D The last time we had Lunar Pool, it wouldn't work (it was missing a connector on the cartridge or something, don't know), so I don't think we ever got to play it before. I've played the ROM before, though, so I knew (basically) how to play it — I beat my brother, and then he accused me of cheating or something, so I plugged in Jeopardy! and I lost spectacularly to him. XD It was fun. :)
As far as dinner was concerned, we had PIZZA! :D Papa Murphy's pizza, to be exact — Papa Murphy's is GOOD. ^____^ Anyway, one pizza was a stuffed-crust pizza, dunno what the crust was stuffed with, but DANG was it good! :D It also had chicken and tomatoes and a mix of cheeses on it. :) I think there might've been more toppings than that, but I don't remember. The other two pizzas were pepperoni, sausage and olives, and chicken, spinach and extra cheese. :3~ They also brought ice cream of the mint-(chocolate )chip variety, one of my favorites! :D And the cake that my mom baked, though it wasn't the prettiest in the world, was one of her best cakes ever. :D
Also, FINALLY managed to do a dry run of my `interesting variation of Chess' — managed to get some things worked out, thought up some new… hang on, let me read one of my previous entries on this subject and I'll get back to this… … *Jeopardy's Final Jeopardy theme plays* … …okay — thought up five or so new cards for it (wasn't sure how much I'd told you! XD), and while I've only done the image for ONE of them, I've got an idea for the image for another of 'em. :D I'll need 50 more 3×5-inch index cards by July, though, 'cause I doubled the amount of cards. XD
Recently, however, I've been cleaning games and stuff — and also, for some reason, under the impression that the Game Genie was dead! ;__; Turns out I'd just had the circuit board for it upside-down in its case! XD
Anyway, I'm gonna go eat now — laters! :D
Edit: Oh yeah! Almost forgot — I got a haircut! :D I hadn't had a haircut in months, so my hair was really long, just slightly longer than shoulder-length, and I decided to finally let my mom cut my hair — it now looks like this! XD
 I'm gonna grow my hair longer again, and hopefully I'll be able to have it cut better this time. :)

Creativity Returns, Yay! :D (slightly edited) (Edit: Added a detail or two on the 24th. I didn't do it before because at the time, I didn't know what to call an overpass. >.<) I think my Creativity's come back — I've been having weird dreams lately.
In my latest dream, I was a 15-/16-/17-year-old purple-haired witch girl (complete with flying broom! :D), wearing lots of black. I think that the snug, black, midriff-revealing T-shirt I was wearing had a skull on it that looked like this (maybe without the nasal cavity, don't remember — I'm pretty sure it didn't have it, though), and I was also wearing black denim jeans, which might've had holes in the knees (or maybe just worn spots). The dream had something to do with a school bus, I guess that me and my class (which was made up of ordinary people — I think I was the only witch. ^^;) were going on a field trip of some sort. I didn't want to ride the bus though, so I flew on my broomstick! :D The reason for this was because I'd thought that the bus was too crowded, noisy, smelly and hot. And someone on that bus was also BOUND to want to sit next to me, and I didn't want to sit next to anyone.
I had fun flying around (following the bus of course), and there was lots of cool scenery — in some parts of the dream, there were trees on both sides of the road, another part I flew under an overpass — it was fun. :D I think I'd seen some of the scenery from previous dreams, though. o.O Except, in those ones, I was either driving or being driven around, not flying on a broom. :)
The bus stopped for a while at a T.C.B.Y.'s or something, sometime in the late afternoon, and later at a movie and video game rental store (it was almost night when they stopped there). I didn't go into the T.C.B.Y. (don't know why, really), but it was rather empty in the video store. Nobody was really there. Maybe a guy behind the counter, that's about it. There were also arcade driving machines (in red and yellow, from what I remember), but I wasn't interested in playing them.
Near the end of the dream, I was flying down a dirty, tan road (just a bit past 1:00 pm though, the way the lighting was) that had short stone walls on either side of it, and past the walls were brown fields of wheat or something, when I saw a sign (which was mostly obscured by dried mud) which read:
BALLOON LAUNCH SITE AHEAD The sign piqued my curiosity, so I slowed down and let the bus go down the road ahead of me. Several hundred yards away, in field on the left side of the road (which was also the side of the road the sign was, and for some reason the side of the road the bus was driving on — earlier, it had been driving on the right side), was some sort of building that looked sorta like an airplane hangar that I guessed was the place where this 'BALLOON LAUNCH SITE' was. I went in and looked around, but there wasn't anyone there. For some reason, I don't remember the building having a ceiling, either. I went behind the building (behind to me, anyway — I think it was probably the actual front), and there was this HUGE concrete floor, which had hooked-shaped metal pegs and things in it, and miscellaneous other stuff laying around, including an apparent tiedown cord-thing to keep the hot air balloons from taking off too soon. The dream was pretty much over after that, and I woke up.
I want a flying broomstick. :(

Quiz Time again, and a few miscellaneous other randomish things.
That sounds scarily like me. o.O In other news, I’m downloading a fansub of the first Winx Club episode. I’d not known that it was originally Italian. I thought it was American or something. It seems that not many people are happy with 4K!DS’ butcherings of it, either. Personally, I kinda liked the dub, but looking back — it wasn’t that great. :/ I think that this episode I’m downloading will be better.
So anyway, anyone know of anybody who’d be willing to help the fansubbers? :D I’d help them myself, but alas — I know not any Italian, nor do I have any clue what I’d be able to help them with aside from maybe distribution on RapidShare and MEGAUPLOAD and all that. :(
Unrelated to the above, I’m making good progress on yet another RPG I've started on, Lyla: Legacy of Darkness. Unlike all those other RPGs, this one has a(t least a PARTIALLY) formulated storyline, AND I’ve actually gotten a lot of the graphics done up. Heck, I’ve even made some music for it! :D Not nearly enough stuff made yet to be able to make a demo and all, but I’m working on it. :)
And no, I’m probably not gonna tell anyone about it — if I do, all the inspiration I've been keeping bottled up will be released, and then it’ll take me forever to get back to wanting to work on it. Next time I talk about it, I'll probably have a demo ready to be used (and abused)! :D
So, anyway — happy Day After Discount Valentine's Day Candy Day. If I was making this post in MS Word and used its grammar checker, it would probably be vomiting green squiggles all under that 'holiday’s‘ title. XD

L00t! :DDD Well, yesterday was my Christmas, and I got a lot of really neat stuff. :D
From my sister-in-law, I got a wooden mannequin guy, fully articulated, twelve inches tall (:D), an 11×9-inch seventy page sketchbook (been wanting another of those for a while! :D), a Faber-Castell graphite sketch set (which came with one Goldfaber pencil each of 2H, HB, B, 2B, 4B and 6B, as well as a metal sharpener and a dust-free eraser. :D), a pencil pouch-thingy, a new Clic Eraser (and two refills), and a set of six Prismacolor colored pencils, in the colors Bleu Copenhague, Brun Ombre Foncé, Rouge Carmin, Vert Pré, Noir, and Orange Soleil. Or, if you'd prefer the English colors (which, sadly, come AFTER the French names — dunno why), they are Copenhagen Blue, Dark Umber, Carmine Red, Grass Green, Black, and Sunburst Yellow. :D
From my brother, I received an FC Game Console, which can not ONLY play normal NES Nintendo games, but ALSO Nintendo Famicom (the original Japanese Nintendo) games, because it doesn't have that lockout thing that prevents me from playing them on a regular NES. :D I also got a Rubik's Cube (complete with display stand! :D). I've been fiddling with it a lot. I can come SO CLOSE to getting one side completed, but the other squares for it are just... too far apart. ;-;
From either my brother, my sister-in-law, or both of them (I dunno, and don't really care right now either. ^_^), I got a box of Dove Jewels (`Premium Chocolate Assortment'! :D), as well as a tin of Russel Stover chocolates. I had one of the Dove Jewels (a Dove Chocolate Raspberry Truffle) — it was most excellent. :)
From my sister, I received the first volume of Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsu) manga. It's good. :D I've read the first chapter. Poor Keroro. XD
And, finally, from my mom, I received a Chameleon Green, Razer Diamondback high-precision gaming mouse. :D It has SEVEN BUTTONS!!! :DDDD No clue what I'm going to use the extra four buttons for, but it's got 'em! :D It's a 1,600 DPI optical mouse... 5.8 megapixels per second... 6,400+ frames per second... 40 inches per second high-speed motion detection... :D~~~ *drooooool* The only sucky thing is, I can't use my middle (scroll wheel) button as a button on one of my emulators anymore, nor can I use buttons four, five, six or seven. :( Oh well, small price to pay — I'll just get used to using the keyboard for that particular button. ^_^
Anyway, I had one HECK of a Christmas. How was everyone elses? :3
Edit: For those of you wondering, the FC Game Console is this. :)

Chess Cards?
Yeah. Several months ago, I was bored with plain old Chess — it took too long to checkmate the other guy, and I nearly always lost (I could only checkmate the other side if I was playing against a computer with the difficulty set to ‘Wuss’, or the equivalent thereof). So I was just sitting there thinking, and I remembered something that my youngest older brother did. He’d made little bits of paper with stuff on them (I don’t remember what), and you’d put them under your pieces, and I think it was whenever the two pieces got in a battle against each other, you’d take out the bits of paper and… well, actually — I don’t remember much else.
And then I thought, “What if I added cards to Chess?” And then I thought of a few. I would list them here, but I’m actually thinking of getting a patent and selling the cards and stuff, so I can’t risk anyone knowing… there may be spies about… <.<;; >.>;;

I'm a wizard! :D

You are The MagicianSkill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity. Eloquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing, you are clever, witty, inventive and persuasive. The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil. What Tarot Card are You? Take the Test to Find Out. When I first saw what card I was, for some reason I thought of this. >.>

I don't know what you all are having for Thanksgiving dinner, but I'm having something a little different than you, I'll bet. For one thing — we're not having turkey (BLASPHEMY!). Nope. Instead, we’re havin’ CHICKEN!! :D The local grocery had it on sale for about 39¢ a pound! :D Mom got 20 pounds of it. ^_^
So anyway, we’re having chicken, cranberry sauce (too bad it's the canned stuff, but oh well.), pumpkin pie, and either wild rice or mashed potatoes and gravy with stuffing — my sister wants mashed potatoes, I want wild rice — so I dunno. I guess it depends which one mom wants to make. ^_^

I also got my hardware! :D The pins that were in my leg. ^^ I'll take a pic of them as well and stuff. :)
Luckilly, I don't have to have another cast or anything, so my leg is currently BARE! :D Well — excepting the inane amount of hair on it. >.< I need a razor… <<;
Anyway, laters. :3

[Link] | Well I'm off again — to Saint Louie! :D I get to get the cast that I DID take pics of (but haven't gotten the pics of off the camera yet) off. :) With any luck, I won't need another cast, but if worst comes to worst — I'll be stuck with another one. ._.
Oh well, it's not like it's the end of the world. :D Though I think I'm going to have to wear noseplugs when I get this cast off — I forgot that appendages covered in cast smell REALLY BAD. >.<
